The Youth and Men’s Group is a unique intergenerational support space where young men and adult men come together to strengthen mental health, build community resilience, and address harm prevention areas such as suicide, self-harm, substance abuse. This mixed-age group and one-on-one breakout sessions provide a valuable opportunity for mentorship, shared experiences, and personal growth, helping participants navigate the challenges of life with greater confidence and support.
In each session, members learn Emotional Intelligence (EI) skills that are essential for recognising and managing emotions, cultivating empathy, and improving relationships. By developing competencies in self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress management, participants can handle life’s pressures more effectively, reducing the risk of turning to harmful coping mechanisms.
Additionally, the group explores how the body and brain respond to environmental threats through the fight-or-flight response, helping members understand why they might feel reactive or overwhelmed in certain situations. Learning to identify these physiological responses empowers participants to pause, reflect, and choose positive ways to handle stress and anxiety.
This group is a place where young men can receive mentorship from adults, and adult men can find purpose in supporting the next generation.

Yes, under the Australian Art Union licensing, there are no restrictions to overseas non-Australian citizens or residents entering the draw. However, certain countries do exclude their own residents from entering international Art Unions. We advise all overseas non-Australian citizens or residents to check that in their own country there are no restrictions on them purchasing a ticket in the draw.
Eligible countries include Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and others.
An **art union** is a type of lottery primarily used by charities to raise funds. Participants purchase tickets, and the winner is drawn to receive a prize. The key aspect of an art union is that the funds raised typically go towards charitable causes.
On the other hand, a **trade promotion lottery** is conducted to promote a business or product. Participation is often free, and the lottery is used as a marketing tool to increase sales or brand awareness. The focus is on promotion rather than raising funds for a cause.
