At Safety Drive Ltd, we believe every life matters, and every story deserves a hopeful ending. Founded with a heart for change, our charity is dedicated to harm prevention across Australia, tackling some of the toughest challenges facing our communities: suicide prevention for men, youth crime reduction, and support for single dads. We’re a registered charity (ABN 20643267047) under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), driven by a mission to create safer, stronger futures for those who need it most.

Safety Drive Ltd exists to reduce harm and empower lives. Our primary focus is suicide prevention for men, addressing the silent crisis that claims too many lives. Men account for three-quarters of suicides in Australia, often struggling in silence due to stigma or lack of support. We’re here to change that by providing practical tools, emotional intelligence workshops, and a community where men feel safe to open up.
Beyond this, we tackle youth crime prevention, offering programs that steer young people away from trouble and toward purpose. We also champion single dads, giving them the resources and support to navigate the challenges of parenthood alone. Every program we run is designed to foster resilience, connection, and hope.
Whether you donate directly or buy a ticket in our draws, you are not just entering for a chance to win a vehicle or cash. You are funding a lifeline. Every ticket or donation supports our Emotional Intelligence workshops, keeps our community programs running, and helps us reach more men, youth, and single dads in need. Since our founding, we have remained committed to transparency and meaningful impact.
Your contributions are also paving the way for future growth. We are developing plans to launch our first small venue in South East Queensland in 2026. This dedicated hub will deliver programs locally and provide an active space for workshops, group sessions, and one-on-one support, making our services more accessible to those who need them most. Key elements include:
Areas in need: Identification of high-need areas in South East Queensland where male suicide rates are above the national average and youth crime is a growing concern, informed by data from sources such as the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Operations: Delivery of Emotional Intelligence programs and workshops, partnerships with local organisations, and open charity days. Facilities will include a racing simulator and workshop shed with vehicle hoists to support practical, hands-on learning experiences.
Financials: Estimated startup costs of $300,000 or more, covering lease, fit-out, and initial staffing. Ongoing annual operating costs are estimated at $600,000 or more per venue, funded through community raffles, grants, and donations where possible.
This venue is expected to employ up to five to ten staff members and volunteers in its first year, including facilitators, counsellors, administrative staff, and community outreach coordinators. This will create meaningful employment opportunities while strengthening our mission. We anticipate supporting 150 to 200 people each month through workshops, support groups, and drop-in sessions, directly benefiting hundreds of men, youth, and single dads each year by building emotional resilience and preventing harm.
Looking ahead, the South East Queensland venue is just the beginning. Our long-term goal is to establish similar hubs in major Australian cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Cairns, and Townsville. In time, we aim to expand internationally to New Zealand, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. With your support, we can scale our impact, build a global network of support spaces, and help create stronger, safer communities.

At the heart of Safety Drive’s work are our Emotional Intelligence (EI) workshops, which equip participants with life-changing skills through group workshops, experiential learning and good times. These sessions teach stress management, emotional awareness, and communication strategies, empowering men and youth to face mental health challenges head-on and helping youth build better decision-making skills. Whether it’s a father learning to cope with stress or a teenager finding alternatives to crime, our workshops create lasting impact.
We also run community support initiatives, including tailored programs for single dads to access mentorship, financial guidance, and peer networks. For youth, we provide outreach and engagement activities to prevent crime, offering positive role models and opportunities to thrive. Every dollar raised through our fund raising activities, fuels these programs, directly saving lives and strengthening communities.
