Driving Change:
Safety Drive's Mission to Empower Through Motorsports
Welcome to Safety Drive
Where innovation meets social impact. Operating as a registered charity under the "Safety Drive Group," we are dedicated to addressing critical societal issues, with a primary focus on male suicide prevention and supporting single fathers, harnessing the transformative power of motorsports to create lasting change.
Building on the foundations laid by the Australian Institute of Motorsports (TAIMS), we are committed to addressing men's mental health challenges, advocating for fathers' rights, and strengthening family bonds, while also supporting youth crime prevention as a secondary focus. We believe in driving change, one lap at a time.
Our Mission and Focus
At Safety Drive, we see motorsports not just as a sport, but as a tool for transformation. Our core mission is to tackle male suicide and provide support for single dads navigating the complexities of fatherhood, family court, and mental health struggles. We aim to create a supportive space where men can engage in meaningful activities, connect with peers, and receive the help they need during difficult times.
By breaking down the barriers to entry in motorsports, we offer opportunities for men to participate in programs that boost their mental health and confidence. Through educational experiences and community events, we provide a positive outlet for men to rebuild their lives while finding camaraderie and purpose.
Preventing Suicide and Supporting Single Fathers
Safety Drive is deeply committed to reducing male suicide rates and empowering single fathers. Through initiatives like men's support groups, legal guidance, and mental health advocacy, we offer men the support they need to navigate life’s challenges. Our campaigns, including "Dad’s Deserve Better," focus on advocating for fathers' rights, helping single dads build stronger relationships with their children, and raising awareness of the struggles they face in family courts.
Our men's groups and support chats provide safe spaces for open discussions about mental health, allowing participants to share their experiences and receive support from their peers. These initiatives, which began under TAIMS, have helped many men find solidarity and hope, and now form a crucial part of our mission at Safety Drive.

Empowering Youth and Preventing Crime
While male suicide prevention and supporting single fathers remain our top priorities, we also work to combat youth crime through mentorship and educational programs. By engaging young people in motorsports and providing them with valuable life skills, we aim to keep them on a positive path, reducing the risk of criminal behavior and helping to build a brighter future for our communities.
SUPPORT OUR MISSIONPrevious Successes of TAIMS
In 2023, TAIMS achieved notable successes, such as establishing men's support groups that fostered a sense of community and provided essential mental health support to men. These accomplishments laid the groundwork for Safety Drive’s current efforts, particularly in the areas of suicide prevention and single father advocacy. By building on these foundations, we continue to expand our reach and impact, ensuring that our programs address the unique needs of men and fathers across Australia.
SUPPORT OUR MISSIONCommunity-First Approach
As a registered charity, Safety Drive prioritizes community outcomes, with a massive focus on achieving better youth outcomes and improving men's mental health. Our efforts are always community-first, ensuring that our programs and initiatives address the needs and challenges faced by those we serve.
Conclusion
At Safety Drive, we are more than just a motorsports organisation – we are a movement for social change. Through our innovative programs, collaborations, and dedication to our mission, we are driving positive change for men, single fathers, and youth. Whether you’re passionate about motorsports, mental health, or advocating for fathers' rights, we invite you to join us in our journey to create a safer, healthier, and more inclusive society.

An **art union** is a type of lottery primarily used by charities to raise funds. Participants purchase tickets, and the winner is drawn to receive a prize. The key aspect of an art union is that the funds raised typically go towards charitable causes.
On the other hand, a **trade promotion lottery** is conducted to promote a business or product. Participation is often free, and the lottery is used as a marketing tool to increase sales or brand awareness. The focus is on promotion rather than raising funds for a cause.
