Driving Change:
Safety Drive's Mission to Empower Through Motorsports
Welcome to Safety Drive
Where innovation meets social impact. Operating as a registered charity under the "Safety Drive Group," we are dedicated to addressing pressing societal issues through the transformative power of motorsports.
Building on the foundations laid by the Australian Institute of Motorsports (TAIMS), we focus on combating youth crime, promoting road safety, supporting mental health, and strengthening family bonds, driving change one lap at a time.
Our Mission and Focus
We believe that motorsports can be a catalyst for positive change. We are committed to reducing barriers to entry into motorsports and providing opportunities for everyone to participate, regardless of background or experience level. Our programs offer educational opportunities, hands-on experiences, and community events that empower individuals to develop essential life skills and pursue their passion for racing.
Empowering Youth and Preventing Crime
A primary focus of Safety Drive is to combat youth crime and provide positive pathways for young people. Through our educational programs and interactive experiences, we equip young people with defensive driving techniques, responsible decision-making skills, and strategies for staying safe on the road. By engaging youth in productive activities and offering alternatives to negative influences, we aim to reduce youth crime and build a generation of responsible drivers and community leaders.

CHECK OUT OUR EVENTSSupporting Mental Health and Strengthening Family Bonds
In addition to our efforts in crime prevention and road safety, we are committed to supporting mental health initiatives and strengthening family bonds. Our men's groups and support chats provide a platform for men to connect, share their experiences, and receive support from peers. We also recognize the importance of family dynamics and have launched campaigns such as "Dad's Deserve Better" to advocate for fathers' rights and promote positive family relationships.
SUPPORT OUR MISSIONPrevious Successes of TAIMS
In 2023, TAIMS achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of men's groups and support chats, providing a safe and supportive space for men to discuss their mental health challenges openly. These initiatives exemplify the commitment to supporting men's mental health and preventing male suicide, fostering camaraderie and solidarity among participants. These past achievements of TAIMS now underpin the current mission and efforts of Safety Drive.
SUPPORT OUR MISSIONCommunity-First Approach
As a registered charity, Safety Drive prioritizes community outcomes, with a massive focus on achieving better youth outcomes and improving men's mental health. Our efforts are always community-first, ensuring that our programs and initiatives address the needs and challenges faced by those we serve.
Conclusion
At Safety Drive, we are more than just a motorsports organization – we are a force for social change. Through our innovative programs, collaborative partnerships, and unwavering commitment to our mission, we are driving positive change in communities across Australia. Whether you're a racing enthusiast, a supporter of mental health initiatives, or simply someone looking to make a difference, we invite you to join us on our journey to create a safer, healthier, and more inclusive society.

An **art union** is a type of lottery primarily used by charities to raise funds. Participants purchase tickets, and the winner is drawn to receive a prize. The key aspect of an art union is that the funds raised typically go towards charitable causes.
On the other hand, a **trade promotion lottery** is conducted to promote a business or product. Participation is often free, and the lottery is used as a marketing tool to increase sales or brand awareness. The focus is on promotion rather than raising funds for a cause.
